DCLA KidWind Club

KidWind products help students investigate the science and technology of renewable energy sources like wind and solar energy. With our lab equipment, sensors, software, and investigations, students can explore engineering concepts and quantify energy production of small wind turbines and solar panels.
We are so proud of our DCLA KidWind Club.
Our Middle School team (Kater Carnes) won The KidWind Worlds Innovation Award. He created something that was out of the box. He brainstormed, created, tested and was successful with his design.
Our Elementary School team (Hadlee Scott, Aubree Miller, Jesse Perry, Ilianna Tebow, Sammy Mendenhall and Levi Brown) won The KidWind World Spirit of KidWind Award. "Eagles NEVER give up!" and KidWind saw how our Little Eaglets kept trying and made changes on the fly. They were good sports when things didn't go their way.
We can't wait to see what they do next!
