599 junior and senior FFA individuals and 549 8th grade through sophomore FFA members who judged 21 classes of livestock over 3 days! We had some success and several lessons along the way! Way to go ladies!!

DCLA FFA members enjoyed 3 days of leadership, motivation, and fun at the 2024 Alumni Leadership Camp! Derby, Hadley, and Piper got to make their mark this week and learn how to impact others, their chapter, and community! They made new friends and memories to last a lifetime!
Own a Piece of Deer Creek-Lamont History!
Have you ever dreamed of owning a piece of history? Now you can! The floor of the "old gym," built in 1937 and torn down in 2022, is available for purchase. You can own a 20" by 20" section of the floor where you once played, practiced, or danced for just $30.
Proceeds from selling this 80-year-old basketball court flooring will fund new seating on the north side of the DCLA high school gym. Join us at the Deer Creek Celebration this Saturday, where Shellie Fitch and Heather Bledsoe will have a trailer with precut pieces of the floor and even some bricks ($5) from the historic building.
Donations are also greatly appreciated and will directly support the new seating project. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to preserve a piece of our community's legacy while supporting our school!
